This past Sunday I had the privilege of visiting with another book club. What a terrific experience, to be among a group of people who buy one’s books, appreciate the work that goes into the creation of books and genuinely want to discuss the work with the author. I find book club members to be astute, careful readers who often give me insights into my own work. They tell me that they get a lot out of direct contact with the author. So I say, if you like books and you like people and you like talking book with people, why not join a book club or create one?
